The Nederlandse Genealogische Vereniging (NGV) or, in English the Dutch Genealogical Association, was founded in 1946. It now has about 10,000 members: genealogists ranging in experience from novices to experts. The NGV is the largest association in its kind in the Netherlands. It is ran entirely by volunteers who aim to support and facilitate research by persons interested in genealogy. The NGV does not execute genealogical research on demand for individuals.
